About RockWin

A money market fund built for the way Kenyans actually save.

RockWin Investment exists to give Kenyans a serious, transparent home for their savings. Regulated by the Capital Markets Authority, held in trust at I&M Bank, and independently audited.

Our story

Access to professional investment products in Kenya has historically required paperwork, physical visits, and minimum deposits that excluded most people. Money market funds — one of the safest and most accessible ways to grow savings — were effectively out of reach for anyone outside a narrow slice of the market.

RockWin was built to close that gap. A mobile-first platform where anyone with a national ID, an M-PESA number, and KES 1,000 can open an account and start earning daily interest in about three minutes. No paperwork, no lock-in, no exit penalties.

We are regulated by the Capital Markets Authority, assets are held in trust at I&M Bank — separate from RockWin's own balance sheet — and the fund is independently audited. The money you deposit does not touch our operating accounts.

How we operate

Three principles, in order of priority.

  1. 01

    Your money is never ours

Client deposits are held in trust at I&M Bank under a trustee agreement approved by the CMA. RockWin operates the fund but does not hold client cash on its own balance sheet. This separation is the single most important structural safeguard in a regulated collective investment scheme.

  2. 02

    Every rate is published

The current yield, management fee, trustee fee, custodian fee, and total expense ratio are published on the fund factsheet and updated monthly. There are no hidden charges, no exit fees, and no performance-based fees.

  3. 03

Interest compounds daily, not monthly on a marketing slide

Interest accrues on your closing balance every night at the fund's current yield and is credited as units the following morning. Because it is credited as units, it compounds automatically — you do not need to do anything to earn the compounded return.

Who holds us to account

Three independent institutions, each with a different job.

Capital Markets Authority
Regulates RockWin and the fund. Approves the trust deed, information memorandum, and fee structure. Conducts ongoing supervision.
I&M Bank — Trustee & Custodian
Holds client assets in trust. Administers the fund independently of RockWin's management. Ensures the assets exist and are properly recorded.
Deloitte — Independent Auditor
Audits the fund annually. The audited financial statements are available on request and filed with the CMA.
